The practice of classical martial arts is always a very personal experience. Instructions are traditionally given
orally from teacher to student. It is very important to establish and maintain a proper relationship with one's
teachers.
Teachers within a given lineage have the responsibility of transmitting the lineage teachings to the next
generation of practitioners. This transmission is personalized, and not everyone is taught in the same way.
Since the instructors in our school must give the students their undivided attention, it is important for visitors to
arrange a meeting time in advance. If you believe you are interested in pursuing training with us, we would be
happy to have you as our guest.
If you would like to visit, please submit an application for training through the website and someone will contact
you as quickly as possible. Our training schedule does not always allow us to spend time talking to people who
show up at the school unannounced.
If you are a member of another training group with whom we have a relationship and you wish to come in for an
evening of training, please contact us beforehand by submitting a training application. Please be sure to tell us
who you train with, what your rank is, and when and for how long you will be in the area.
